Editorial Policy
The standards behind topic selection, research, drafting, attribution, and corrections at Unboredom.
Our purpose
Unboredom publishes accessible explanations of subjects that reward curiosity. We aim to help readers understand an idea, not merely repeat a headline or fill a search result.
Research and sources
Articles should rely on identifiable, relevant sources. Primary sources, official documentation, research institutions, and established specialist publications are preferred. Sources are listed so readers can inspect the evidence and continue their own research.
AI-assisted tools
Software, including generative AI, may assist with research organization, outlining, drafting, and editing. These tools do not replace editorial responsibility. Content must be useful, coherent, source-supported, and appropriate for publication before it remains in the archive.
Accuracy and corrections
We distinguish established facts from interpretation and avoid presenting speculation as certainty. If a material error is identified, we review the supporting sources and correct or remove the article as appropriate.
Images and attribution
Images are licensed, supplied by services such as Pexels, or otherwise used with an appropriate basis. Available creator and source attribution is shown on the article page.
Advertising and independence
Advertising does not determine article conclusions. Sponsored or affiliate-supported material will be clearly disclosed when introduced.
